Ottawa for the w-end

An impromtu whirlwind w-end in Ottawa for a) Ate's birthday and b) Chris's last w-end in the country before heading off to Australia for med school. Who knows when I'll see this guy, so luckily, Mag was also going home that w-end and I got to spend some time with Chris (while they were playing video games in the other room and I did my essay) and with Ate (at the Lawyer for some good dancing action).

Me and the guest of honour. You probably can't tell, but he had just finished bawling in front of a room full of people. Who's a wuss now?? And no, I wasn't... uhh.. crying. I'm stonecold.

No party at the de Jesus's is complete without the 8-screen video gaming, poker, and endless rounds of karaoke. Mike, you are forever branded Mr. Lonely. This is what happens from poor song selection.

Bomber #4 and Bev's Birthday Bash

A birthday isn't complete without a celebration at Bomber, so waiting in line for almost 2 hours was worth it to celebrate B.D.Bradle's 24th.

The birthday baby and.. wait.. no, that can't be... is that Jack Bauer or Butch??

The party people ready for a good time. Chris (sometimes known as Christ, who show people The Way), Rohit Camera-happy Sharma, birthday Beverly, Arvind aka Butch, 5.5 Straight Dan, and Just Aliya.

Rohit and I so very happy to finally get in at almost midnight.

If anyone deserves hugs on this day, it's the birthday girl and one from none other than Graham Cracker.

Bomber #3

A different spin on Bomber that night: Melo, Rosie and Mary were in attendance. Systems people, not so much. Interesting night, as it was the celebration of the COMP/ECE Symposium held earlier that day, so a lot of Wessy's brownies were present. Also, remember Simon who Melo thought was Steve who wanted to "get with all of us"?

Bomber #2

Picture-crazy Rohit captured pretty much every minute before, during and after Bomber this second week of classes.

Bev and I: Bomber #2. Take note of the shirt. It was HOT STUFF all night. I kid you not.

Bev and I with the one and only Derrick. I saw this guy a lot that night. Maybe it was the yellow shirt I couldn't miss.. or perhaps the beer belly.

DJ and Bev. Remember in the summer on Canada Day when a bunch of the Systems people came down for the w-end and we all went out and I beat DJ at air hockey THREE TIMES IN A ROW?? That was awesome!

First Rev of 4B

First week of school, second night of partying. A fitting last first Rev with the original first rev ever crew; Melo, Rosie, Jamie and I.

First Bomber of 4B

Zero problems getting in cause we arrived at about 6:45pm to beat the line. And that we did. Apprently, people that got there at 7:00pm waited for TWO HOURS! Insane! First night was great; met some nice new people, mostly from Bev's SYDE class, and seeing some familiar faces after a year off of school.
